ARTFUL, MODERN CREATIVE DIRECTION

I share inspiration and recent projects on the wedding-focused Instagram account @brylo_wed. If you're interested in working together, please start there to find out if we're a good fit for each other.

AESTHETIC INSPIRATION

Textural. Minimal. Artful. Unexpected. I'm inspired by architecture, handmade "imperfections", modern art and the avant-garde approach to fashion design. My creative style is characterized by textural elements, quality paper choices, typographically driven compositions and a thoughtful use of negative space. Minimal doesn't mean boring. I apply an intentional, artistic approach to every piece.

BRYLO DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

I'm all about unique perspectives. YES let's tell your love story through paper, but let's not be so literal, okay? Some of the most beautiful things are also the most subtle, so let the details carry the design by giving them room to sing. My role is to suggest your story and create a feeling. I help you set the mood for your day with a few pieces of paper and tasteful, intentional creative direction.

I specialize in letterpress printing but there is always room in my heart for other print methods and unique substrates. I would love to work together to make sure your vision is brought to life in a way that is beautiful, unexpected and awesome. Please get in touch if my work speaks to you.

BRYLO IS NAMED AFTER A FAMILY LOVE STORY

The name BRYLO (rhymes with "high-low") comes from a combination of the last names of my Great Nana and the woman she loved. BRY = Bryant and LO = Lloyd.

MEET CHAZ

Hi, I'm Chaz, the designer behind BRYLO. Give me some creative freedom and I'll make it my personal mission to knock your socks off. I live in Longmont, Colorado with my husband and our hilariously tall dog (#maxthepony). On the weekends you can find me adventuring outside with those two, or experimenting with a new creative medium (unless it's wedding season, when I basically live in the studio ;) ). Beyond graphic design I'm especially excited about architecture, interior design, ceramics, floral design and all things Aussie. I'm always looking for ways to create in other mediums. I think creatives are inherently multifaceted so I particularly love quirky documentaries about visionaries; enthusiasm is contagious. People often expect me to be a guy when they find me online, so heads up- I'm not :) And, yes, that is my full name.
